 UTI/Reflux Nephropathy Teaching Session

Thursday 30th March

13:45 – 16:30

This session will be an afternoon teaching session.  Topics include management of UTI/VUR, antibiotics, guideline update and case presentations.  Agenda (subject to change) and registration can be accessed by clicking on appropriate links or scanning the QR Code opposite.  Further details may follow.

Highlights include developments and resources available to support renal patients and families (new patient leaflets, patient surveys undertaken, other SPRUN resources, information from Kidney Kids Scotland and patient/family journey from acute kidney injury to dialysis through to transplant).

Bladder Study Day

11th May 2021

The morning topics include bladder disorders, continence and case studies.  Nephro-urology topics will be covered in the afternoon.


The Paediatric Renal Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow in association with the Scottish Paediatric Renal and Urology Network are holding a FREE virtual paediatric renal teaching day titled:

Paediatric Renal Virtual Study Day: Insider’s Tips

on the 

14th of September 2020 from 09:00-17:00

The day will consist of a series of virtual presentations delivered using Microsoft Teams and will provide a basic overview of common paediatric renal conditions, diagnosis and management with some “insider’s tips” to help with commonly encountered dilemmas. Please see the attached presentation programme. The day will be delivered by the Specialist Multidisciplinary Paediatric Renal Team at the Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow.

​The study day is aimed at ALL health care professionals who care for children presenting with renal conditions including paediatricians, general practitioners, paediatric nurses and allied health professionals.

The presentations will be recorded and will be made available to those who attend after the event.

Certificates of attendance will also be provided.
